Cleaning tips for your computer

Following is a listing of tips that you should take under consideration when you decide to clean your computer case or its peripherals.

• Always turn off the computer or any of its components when you clean it.
• Do not spray any liquid on your computer.
• To clean the outside case of your computer, you can vacuum the dirt with a vacuum cleaner. Keep in mind that you should not use a vacuum cleaner for the inside as the static electricity can harm the internal parts of your computer. If you need to clean the inside, then it’s best you used compressed air.
• If you want to clean the fans within a portable computer or a laptop, you should hold the fan in order to prevent it from spinning.
• Do not eat or drink when using your computer.
• Your keyboard is one of the most germ filled areas of your house, therefore it should be cleaned regularly. A lot of people clean their keyboard by flipping it over, but it is more effective to use compressed air. After you have cleaned the dust use a disinfectant cloth to wipe each of the keys on the keyboard.
