Easy file backup

The data on your computer is the most important thing you have. Photos, documents, videos, everything that you keep on your PC must be well kept and safe guarded in case something goes terribly wrong.  Having a backup plan is the best thing you can do to avoid any disaster and never be in danger of losing your files. Backing up your data can be very easily, just follow the following guide to manual file back up.

First of all you have to insert a storage device. The best one to do this job is an external hard drive, but you could also use CDs or DVDs, but they are not as large in size storage and they can be easily damaged.

Secondly, you need to decide exactly what you want to back up. By backing up manually, you have to make sure that every file you need is actually copied over. Also, don’t forget to prioritize your data into order of importance.  Please keep in mind that programs cannot be backed up, and need to be reinstalled if something goes wrong with the system.

After you have all the above worked out, it’s time to actually back up your data. Copy over to your backup media by dragging and dropping the data onto the drive and wait for it to copy.

Last, but not least, don’t forget to regularly update your back ups!
