Improve your Hard Disc performance for Windows Vista

Windows Vista uses a system that prevents the loss of data in case the power goes out, however this affects the performance of the Hard Disc.  If you use a laptop with reliable battery or your PC is connected to a UPS, then you can do the following to make the HD run better :

1. Press the Windows tab down left, right click on Computer and press Properties

2. Select Device manager

3. Press + next to the Disk drives, right click on the system disc and press Properties

4. Choose Policies, then Enable advanced performance and press ΟΚ
